The life of young Swiss writer Annemarie Schwarzenbach and her journey through the world in search of her identity is the motto of the biographical novel Lei così amata, from Italian novelist Melania Mazzucco. In this paper, we focus on the speech intertwining of those two writers’ voices, separated in time by over six decades. Both authors demonstrate, through their narrative, a passion for writing and the transformative power ofboth real and metaphoric travels, undertaken by women in their struggle for a place in the world.||A vida da jovem escritora suíça Annemarie Schwarzenbach e seu percurso pelo mundo em busca de sua identidade é o mote do romance biográfico Lei così amata, da escritora italiana Melania Mazzucco. Neste estudo, focalizamos o entrelaçamento das vozes dessas duas escritoras, separadas no tempo por mais de seis décadas. Ambas demonstram, por meio de suas narrativas, a paixão pela escrita e a força transformadora das viagens,reais e metafóricas, empreendidas pela mulher na luta por seu lugar no mundo.
