The present investigation, centered in Hannah Arendt´s thinking isoriented to show the importance that has her reflection on the totalitarianphenomenon for analyzing some of the contexts and tensions in the late assimilationof Kant´s philosophy – especially his Kritik der Urteilskraft- during thesixties and the seventies. This not imply to ignore certain displacementes withrespect the evolution of this subject in the work of our authoress, but rather thanthey are given inside a continuum. According to this, the faculty of judgement isthe endeavour, always unfinished, for thinking the politic figure of the espectatorand his peculiar autonomy; the politics of the spectator.||La presente investigación, centrada en el pensamiento de Hannah Arendt, estáorientada a mostrar la importancia de la reflexión arendtiana acerca del totalitarismo paraanalizar el contexto y las tensiones de su asimilación tardía de la filosofía kantiana –especialementede la Kritik der Urteilskraft– durante los años sesenta y setenta. Ello no implicadesconocer ciertos desplazamientos con respecto a la evolución de este tema en la obra denuestra autora, sino más bien que los mismos se dan en el interior de un continuum. Deacuerdo con esto la facultad de juzgar es el intento, siempre inconcluso, de pensar la figurapolítica del espectador y su peculiar autonomía; la política del espectador.
