“Your life is art itself…” these words helped me believe that art is necessary to unfold and communicate with others in my life. I thought that what I do and think were not important for academy but for healing myself. Art was always an outlet for me to express my inner feelings and communicate with other people. Whether people liked my work or not were not the most important thing but to be truthful to myself through the act of creation was. My MA supervisor, Dr. Rita Irwin is the person who believed in me. She not only said that my life is art itself but also said that I am an a/r/tographer. I live my life creatively said Dr. Carl Leggo, I as an artist whose research is to contemplate life through the experiences of memories in order to teach, inform and share how I live in this world. I have always been interested in relationships between strangers and how we trust each other especially in difficult situations and outside of our comfort zones. In this paper, I share one of my creative practices, hair cut performance, which raises questions to all of us about how it is to trust or not trust others through acts of art.||Este artigo explora os cabelos humanos como um meio artístico. Venho questionando a relação de confiança e a dinâmica de poder entre quem corta o cabelo e aquele que recebe o corte de cabelo. Esta situação reflete nossas interações da vida diária de várias maneiras, particularmente entre profissionais e não profissionais, como artistas e não artistas e professores e alunos. Descobri que, para construir uma relação recíproca confiável, ambos os lados devem fazer um esforço paraentender as mentes dos outros. Este artigo inclui fotos da performance de cabelo e poesia para apresentar minhas investigações baseadas em artes para ajudar a entender esse relacionamento humano.
