Resumo: A reflexão que pretendemos realizar neste artigo levará em contaa liturgia bizantina, praticada pelos ortodoxos ou pelos católicos orientais.Buscaremos apresentar o culto da Virgem Maria no Oriente Cristão Ortodoxo,explorando a beleza das invocações, da iconografia, da hinografia edas festas litúrgicas. Evidentemente, este trabalho não pretende e nem poderiaesgotar a riqueza desta venerável Tradição, cujo fundamento repousana Maternidade Divina, na Virgindade Perpétua e na Santidade da VirgemBendita.Palavras-chave: Liturgia bizantina. Itwill seek to present the cult of the Virgin Mary in the Orthodox ChristianEast, exploring the beauty of invocations, iconography, hymnography andliturgical feasts.
