Although the term interdisciplinarity is a popular term in the educational scene, many are the concepts and the term itself does not seem to present one single meaning. Probably this is due to the consequence of the different approaches it receives, considering it is still not possible to define a sole conception of interdisciplinarity. We aim to present multiple distinct concepts involving the theme, establishing a dialogue among the different concepts addressed by renowned authors in the field, in order to highlight that although distinct, they converge to overcome the fragmentation of the education and the need of dialogicity amonsgt the teachers.Interdisciplinarity. Fragmentation of knowledge.Dialogue||Embora o termo interdisciplinaridade esteja em voga no cenário educacional, são muitas as concepções e o termo não parece apresentar um sentido único e preciso. Isto, provavelmente, decorre dos diferentes enfoques que recebe, já que ainda não seja possível definir uma única concepção de interdisciplinaridade. Objetivamos apresentar as distintas concepções que envolvem a temática, estabelecendo um diálogo entre as diferentes concepções abordadas por autores de renome na área, a fim de evidenciar que embora sejam distintas, convergem para a superação do ensino da fragmentação do conhecimento e a necessidade de diálogo por parte dos docentes.
