This article discusses the possibilities of using intimates diaries in primary and secondary education, not only as a source of research, but also as an educational tool, enriching the process of didactic transposition of academic research to the classroom. It is a reflection on the wrapper of sincerity that characterizes personal records that can involve the teacher-researcher in the aura of strength, conviction and veracity of writing itself. Aware of these limitations, we present some excerpts from intimates diaries published, examining how they can be used in the classroom, depending on the teacher's ability to realize them issues related to the content discussed in their respective disciplines. Given the social dimension of intimates diaries, it is important to notice that these supports record the dialogue of an individual with his time and place, can articulate issues in various interdisciplinary approach, with the possibility of having access to a different view of certain historical facts compared with that found in official historical sources.||Este artigo discute as possibilidades da utilização de diários íntimos no Ensino Fundamental e Médio, não apenas como fonte de pesquisas, mas também como instrumento pedagógico, enriquecedor do processo de transposição didática das pesquisas acadêmicas para a sala de aula. Faz-se uma reflexão sobre o invólucro de sinceridade que caracteriza os registros íntimos, capaz de envolver o professor-pesquisador na aura de força, convicção e veracidade da escrita de si. Atento a esses limites, apresentamos trechos de alguns diários íntimos publicados, analisando a maneira como eles podem ser utilizados em sala de aula, dependendo da capacidade do professor em perceber neles temas relacionados aos conteúdos discutidos em suas respectivas disciplinas. Dada à dimensão social dos diários, eis que eles registram o diálogo de um indivíduo com o seu tempo e lugar, pode-se articular temas diversos em abordagem interdisciplinar, com a possibilidade de se ter acesso a um ponto de vista diferente de determinados fatos históricos, se comparado com o que encontramos em fontes históricas oficiais.
