The following study, made in a context of intensifying conflicts in the Amazon region, aims to problematize the construction processo of the Transamazon highway based on the reports and memories of the indigenous population in the southem region of the state of Amazonas. To produce this research we used the methods of oral history, aside of the journalistic publications of the time and the dialogue produced on the thematic histography. We identified, in the research process, the impacts of the military government policies, that justified the highway construction with the necessity for the incorporation of the region and the populations into the capital logic, as well as the deep and latent wounds that lasts untill today.||O trabalho em tela, produzido em um contexto de intensificação dos conflitos na região amazônica, tem como objetivo problematizar o processo de construção da rodovia Transamazônica a partir dos relatos e memórias do povo Tenharim da região Sul do estado do Amazonas. Para a realização dessa pesquisa utilizamos os métodos da história oral, bem como das publicações jornalísticas da época e do diálogo com a historiografia produzida sobre a temática. Identificamos no processo de pesquisa os impactos das políticas dos governos militares, que justificavam a construção da rodovia com a necessidade de incorporar a região e as populações à lógica do capital, bem como as marcas profundas e latentes presentes ainda hoje.
