The creation of the frogs-swans by Aristophanes seems unrivalled in the Ancient Greek Literature. A research in the TLG shows that, apart from Aristophanes’ text, these two animals never hybridize. Aristophanes’ construction is unparalleled and it uses the voice. It is not simply a voice of a frog thinking itself as a swan but an amazing hybrid voice, combining the characteristics of two animals, about which Aristophanes conceived a traditional and archaic music, representative of Ancient Muse , as shown by S. Perrotand A. -I. Muñoz’ s works.||La création des grenouilles-cygnes par Aristophane semble unique dans la littérature grecque antique. Un inventaire dans le TLG montre qu’hors du texte d’Aristophane, ces deux animaux ne s’hybrident jamais. La création d’Aristophane est donc unique et elle passe par la voix. Ce n’est pas simplement une voix de grenouilles qui se prennent pour des cygnes mais une voix hybride, incroyable, associant les caractéristiques des deux ani- maux, autour desquelles Aristophane a construit une musique très traditionnelle voire archaïsante, représentative de l’ancienne muse comme l’ont montré les travaux de S. Per- rot et d’A.-I. Muñoz.
