This article analyzes the processes of formation and extinction of the political committee of the Conservative Republican Party (PRC) in the State of Paraná. These processes took place between the years 1915 to 1918. The purpose of this article is to produce knowledge about the internal organization and the electoral action of the national parties that existed in Brazil at the time of the First Republic. There are three arguments presented in this work. First, evidenced is given the creation of this committee was due to the opening of a dissent in the ruling party of Paraná. In this state, therefore, the PRC was an oppositionist. Second, evidenced is show that the leaders of the PRC of Paraná managed to recruit supporters in municipalities in the interior of the state. However, these affiliates were electorally uncompetitive. Third, the disputes between leaders and the poor electoral performance led the political committee to dissolve. As a result, some members of the PRC returned to the governing party of Paraná.||Neste artigo desenvolve-se uma investigação sobre os processos de formação e extinção do diretório paranaense do Partido Republicano Conservador (PRC). Esses processos ocorreram entre os anos de 1915 e 1918. O objetivo desta análise é produzir conhecimento acerca da organização interna e da ação eleitoral dos partidos nacionais que existiram no Brasil ao tempo da Primeira República. Há três argumentos sustentados neste trabalho. Primeiro, é evidenciado que a criação do referido diretório foi decorrente da abertura de uma dissidência no partido governista do Paraná. Nesse estado, portanto, o PRC pertenceu ao campo da oposição. Segundo, cumpre ressaltar que o diretório paranaense do PRC conseguiu recrutar correligionários em municípios do interior do estado. Todavia, esses filiados eram eleitoralmente pouco competitivos. Terceiro, trata-se de destacar que o fraco desempenho eleitoral e as rivalidades entre dirigentes levaram o diretório a se dissolver. Por consequência, uma parcela dos filiados do PRC paranaense retornou ao partido situacionista do estado.
