Descrição
This paper aims to understand the dichotomies and imbrications in the narrative forms presented in a set of images of two media contents broadcasted on TV Globo, in 2017: the journalistic report Tudo pela Vida, directed by the physician Drauzio Varella, in Fantástico TV program, and the serial drama Sob pressão, a fictional product recorded and set in a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro. From a set of frames collected in one episode of each product, we reflect on how the medical character is constructed in these narratives and we identify proximities and distances in their representation, aligned with new dashes of realism and categorized in the reality TV genre.||This paper aims to understand the dichotomies and imbrications in the narrative forms presented in a set of images of two media contents broadcasted on TV Globo, in 2017: the journalistic report Tudo pela Vida, directed by the physician Drauzio Varella, in Fantástico TV program, and the serial drama Sob pressão, a fictional product recorded and set in a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro.
