This work aimed mainly to analyze the contemporary perspective of the tourist look on the cultural identity of of the Quilombola Dona Juscelina Community. In this sense, the research aimed to investigate the representations of the intangible heritage of the community, through the Abolition Festival, and also identify the perception of social actors involved in the celebration: tourists, masters and organizers, focusing on the tourist perspective about the quilombola heritage legacy. The research was located in the quilombola community, which is urban, as it is still fighting for the ancestral territory located in the municipality of Muriciland-TO. It was carried out in two phases, started in 2018 in October and was concluded the following year in the Festejo da Abolition In the first phase questionnaires were applied to the organizers and the Masters of local culture and the second phase was held in May 2019 where questionnaires were applied to tourists who attend the celebration. As a result it was found that the quilombola community through the Abolition Festival has great potential for cultural tourism, as it has been observed a latent tourist flow and a rich collection of cultural representations, that is with potential for a participatory community planning process that set precedents for expanding other cultural tourism products in the community.
||Esse trabalho buscou principalmente fazer uma análise da perspectiva contemporânea do olhar turístico sobre a identidade cultural da Comunidade Quilombola Dona Juscelina. Neste sentido, a pesquisa teve como objetivos investigar as representações do patrimônio imaterial da comunidade, por meio do Festejo da Abolição, e ainda identificar a percepção dos atores sociais envolvidos no festejo: turistas, mestres e organizadores, tendo como enfoque principal a perspectiva do turista sobre o legado patrimonial quilombola. A pesquisa se localizou na comunidade quilombola, que se encontra urbana, pois está lutando ainda pelo território ancestral situado no município de Muricilândia-TO, foi realizada em duas fases, iniciada em 2018 no mês de outubro e foi concluída no ano seguinte no Festejo da Abolição. Na primeira fase, foram aplicados questionários voltados aos organizadores e aos Mestres de cultura local e na segunda fase, foram aplicados questionários direcionados aos turistas que frequentam o festejo. Como resultado foi constatado que a comunidade quilombola através do Festejo da Abolição tem um grande potencial para o turismo cultural, pois foi observado um fluxo turístico latente e um rico acervo de representações culturais, isto é, com potencial para um processo de planejamento participativo comunitário que abra precedentes para ampliação de outros produtos turísticos culturais na comunidade.
