This article considers the interdisciplinary intersections between History of Education and Museums History, for understanding the relationship between Museology and Education in historical perspective. It begins by the mapping of disciplinary settings of History of Education and History of Museums in orderto verify their independent pathways and dialogues already built, opening new possibilities for understanding the History of the relationship between museums and education. Finally, it would like to emphasize the importance of historicizing the representation and practices in education in museums in order to betterunderstand and delimit their educational actions in the present.||Esse artigo considera os cruzamentos interdisciplinares entre História, Museologia e Educação, especificamente abordando a intersecção entre história da educação e história dos museus, para a compreensão da relação entre museus e Educação em perspectiva histórica. Parte-se de um mapeamento das configurações disciplinares da História da Educação e da História dos Museus no sentido de verificar seus percursos independentes e diálogos já construídos, abrindo novas alternativas de compreensão da história da relação entre museus e educação. Finalmente, deseja-se ressaltar a relevância da historicização das representações e práticas em educação em museus afim de melhor compreender e balizar as ações educativas no presente.
