Este artigo tem como objetivo traçar redes futebolísticas, entre outras tantas possíveis, que se desdobram a partir de Guaianases (bairro periférico da Zona Leste de São Paulo), para assim analisar o processo de formação e profissionalização de jovens jogadores. Pretendo reconstruir as conexões e trajetos por meio do conjunto de atores que circulam pelas redes de relações que perpassam os universos futebolísticos. Por meio destas redes, proponho acompanhar a diversidade de situações, atores e questões conectados ao processo de formação de jogadores de futebol em São Paulo. Temas como peneiras, empresários, práticas políticas e futebol de várzea aparecem entrelaçados nesta etnografia e mostram-se decisivos para um maior entendimento da pluralidade de práticas e representações do fenômeno futebolístico.Palavras chave: Antropologia do Esporte. The universes of football: ethnography of footballnetworks in São Paulo Abstract This article aims to draw life networks, among other many possible, which unfold from Guaianases (peripheral district of East zone of São Paulo), to analyze the process of training and professionalization of young players. I want to rebuild the connections and paths through the set of actors moving by networks of relationships that crossing football universes. Through these networks, I propose to follow the diversity of situations, actors and issues connected to the process of formation of football players in São Paulo. Themes like sieves, entrepreneurs, political football practices and floodplain appear interlaced in this ethnography and are decisive for a greater understanding of the plurality of practices and representations of football phenomenon.Keywords: Anthropology of Sport.
