Este artigo, síntese de uma palestra sobre o Teatro da Vertigem, apresenta uma reflexão sobre a relação entre Ensino do Teatro e Teatro Contemporâneo. Para tanto, procura ressaltar o fator impacto, ao nível da recepção, usado para engajar emocionalmente o público e/ou alunos com o fazer teatral. Apresenta e questiona as controvérsias referentes à recepção de Apocalipse 1.11 e BR3, e aponta para trabalhos em escolas, cuja concepção cênica partiu de pressupostos semelhantes aos do Vertigem. || This article, a synthesis of a lecture about the Teatro da Vertigem (Vertigo’s Theatre), discusses the interaction between Theatre in Schools and Contemporary Theatre. As such, it looks at the impact, at the level of reception, used to engage the public and/or students emotionally with theatre productions. It presents and questions the controversies around the reception of Apocalipse 1.11 (Apocalypse 1.11) and BR3, and points to works in schools which scenic conception share the assumptions of Vertigem (Vertigo).
