The article offers a reflection on the dramaturgy applied to puppet theater. Understood as a field traditionally linked to the production of the actors’ theater text, in its canonical formulation, faced with the specificity of the problematic of the text for the puppet, the dramaturgy reveals the possibilities of extending the understanding of the term and its application which we will try to explore here. For this analysis, we will use three case studies selected from the repertoire of texts from the ancient puppet theater in Portugal.||L’article propose une réflexion sur la dramaturgie appliquée au théâtre de marionnettes. Entendue comme un domaine rattaché traditionnellement à la production du texte de théâtre des acteurs dans sa formulation canonique, devant la spécificité de la problématique du texte pour la marionnette, la dramaturgie révèle des possibilités d’extension de la compréhension du terme et de son application, que l’on tentera d’explorer ici. Pour cette analyse, nous aurons recours à trois cas d’étude choisis dans le répertoire de textes du théâtre de marionnettes anciennes au Portugal.
