In a context where the trend of artistic practices addressed in a remarkable way for interhuman relations and its consequent results, reemerges the debate about whether contemporary art has its origin in a spirit of political character. Consciously or unconsciously 90s art is linked to the social context, seeking in this way an interactive sociability in different levels of reality, according to the artist and the context of the spectators. The theoretical idea of Relational Aesthetics is correct more in the context of contemporary art of the 90s, but we tend to think about it in other contexts as it has always been that way regarding to political, technological, social and historical context of humanity.||Em um contexto onde a tendência da prática artística se dirigiu de maneira notável para as relações inter-humanas e seus consequentes resultados, ressurge o debate sobre se a arte contemporânea tem, na sua origem, um espírito de caráter político. Consciente ou inconscientemente a arte dos anos 90 se vincula ao contexto social, buscando desta maneira uma sociabilidade interativa nos diferentes níveis de realidade, segundo o artista e o contexto dos espectadores. A ideia teórica da Estética Relacional é certa mais nesse contexto da arte contemporânea dos anos 90, mas tendemos a pensar que em distintos graus sempre foi assim, em relação ao contexto social, político, tecnológico e histórico da humanidade.
