The years in which the works of Rubem Fonseca initially arise, 1963, and consolidate themselves 1970s coincide with a social, political and economical context of major transformation and social turbulence, such as: the installation of social barbarism and the regime of military dictatorship, and the advent and proliferation of mass communication media. Accordingly, our goal is to investigate the procedures of literary creation that dialogue with this context, within the short stories of Rubem Fonseca.||O período em que surge a obra de Rubem Fonseca, 1963, e sua consolidação na década de 70, coincide com um contexto sócio-político e cultural de grandes transformações e turbulências sociais, tais como: a instalação da barbárie social e política denominada ditadura militar, o advento e proliferação dos meios de comunicação de massa. Destarte, o nosso objetivo é investigar, nos contos do escritor Rubem Fonseca, os procedimentos de criação literária que dialogam com esse contexto.
