The interview that the doctoral student Elisa Bernardo held with Prof. Pedro Antônio Janeiro configures one of the consequences of the “2nd International Seminar Representation - Brazil 2013”, held in São Paulo in August 2013. The Text flows from the central theme of the importance of the project and its representations in architectural education by talking about what is (or should be) architecture. Clearly the concern of Pedro Janeiro is with students and the relationship they establish with the design and through design, with reality and how the project is presented in the mediation between the “inhabitant” and the “cabin”.||A entrevista que a doutoranda Elisa Bernardo realizou com o Prof. Pedro Antônio Janeiro configura um dos desdobramentos do 2o Seminário Internacional Representar – Brasil 2013, realizado em São Paulo em Agosto de 2013. O texto flui a partir do tema central da importância do projeto e de suas representações na formação do arquiteto discorrendo sobre o que é (ou deveria ser) a arquitetura. É evidente a preocupação de Janeiro com os estudantes e a relação que estes estabelecem com o ,desenho e, através do desenho, com a realidade, e como o projeto se apresenta na mediação entre o “habitante” e o “habitáculo”.
