As narrativas ficcionais seriadas televisivas, em especial, as telenovelas, provocam identificações e projeções no telespectador, através não somente da ficção, mas também dos sistemas de representação. Será por esse modo de identificação-projeção que a telenovela consegue envolver o telespectador? De que forma ela consegue exercer tanto fascínio? Neste trabalho, realizamos, assim, um breve estudo sobre o poder da narrativa das telenovelas e a identificação que provoca em um público fiel e cativo.||The fictional serial television, particularly soap operas, cause an identification and a projection at the viewer It happens not only in the fiction narratives but in the systems of representation also. Is the identification-projection method that engages the soap opera viewer? How can it create so much fascination? Therefore, we propose a brief study about the power of the narrative of soap operas and its identification on the captive and loyal audience.
