The aim of this work is to produce a critical approach to artistic interventionsthat search to legitimize the city as a locus of construction and expressionof individual and collective identities, of the manifestation of causes anddesires, and of the development of communicative actions that seek totransform the appearance and the life of the urban spaces. We analyzethe work of the group Poro (Belo Horizonte), considering its intention tochange the city and the people through creative tactics of enunciationand questioning of what is considered common for a collective. We tryto comprehend if the urban interventions of the group, when insertedand dialoging with the public life, can offer new perceptions of the city,articulated to a political practice that is based on aesthetical and poeticalexperiences.||O objetivo deste trabalho é refletir sobre intervenções artísticas que buscam legitimar a cidade como locus da construção e expressão de identidades individuais e coletivas, da manifestação de causas e desejos e do desenvolvimento de ações comunicativas que buscam transformar a aparência e a vida dos espaços urbanos. Analisa-se o trabalho do grupo Poro (Belo Horizonte) a partir de sua intenção de promover transformações na cidade e nas pessoas por meio de táticas criativas de enunciação e questionamento daquilo que é considerado partilhado por uma coletividade. Procura-se revelar se as intervenções urbanas do grupo, ao se inserirem e dialogarem com a vida pública,oferecem novas percepções da cidade articuladas a um fazer político que tem a estética e a poética como bases.
