This article discusses some theoretical problems intrinsically proposed by the narrator of Notes from the Underground as complex paradoxes. The topics that were examined were: the representation of written memories as “anti-literature”, the ambivalence of the narrative mode and the deliberate and explicit erasure of the author/ father of the text.||Procuro, neste texto, contornar alguns problemas teóricos que, na escrita de Memórias do Subsolo, já estão postos pelo narrador na forma de intrincados paradoxos. Em síntese, serão tratadas as seguintes questões: a representação das memórias escritas como antiliteratura; a ambivalência de seu modo narrativo; o apagamento deliberado e explícito do autor/pai do texto.
