Till Eulenspiegel is the fifth comedy written by Luís Alberto de Abreu for the project Comedia Popular Brasileira of the Fraternal Cia de Arte e Malas-Artes theater company. This paper locates Till in the context of this project and presents the influence of Bakhtin ideas on popular culture, Bergson view on the mechanics of laughter and the dramatic structure of commedia dell'arte in this play. It also analyzes the exploration of the narrative resources of epic theater developed by the author, especially from the coexistence of Aristotelian and Brechtian values in the “triple mask”.||Till Eulenspiegel é a quinta comédia escrita por Luís Alberto de Abreu para o projeto Comédia Popular Brasileira da Fraternal Cia de Arte e Malas-Artes. O presente artigo localiza Till no contexto desse projeto e apresenta a influência das ideias de Bakhtin sobre cultura popular, de Bergson sobre a mecânica do riso e da estrutura dramática da commedia dell’arte na obra. Analisa ainda a exploração dos recursos narrativos do teatro épico desenvolvida pelo autor, sobretudo a partir da coexistência dos valores aristotélicos e brechtianos na “máscara tripla”.
