Dois irmãos, the literary work of the Amazonian writer Milton Hatoum, is the story of Yaqub and Omar, twin brothers who, from an early age and by the circumstances of their creation, come to hate each other. After almost fifteen years, the awardwinning literary work wins the graphic novel version through the comic artists Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá, also twin brothers. This study therefore deals with the analysis of the narrative structure of the transcoded literary work for comics, through the method of comparative analysis proposed by Tzvetan Todorov and Roland Barthes. This is a qualitative research of exploratory design that used content analysis, comparing two objects of study: the novel and its version for comics.Keywords: narrative, graphic novel, transcodification.||Dois irmãos, obra literária do escritor amazonense Milton Hatoum, é a história de Yaqub e Omar, irmãos gêmeos que, desde cedo e pelas circunstâncias de sua criação, passam a odiar-se. Após quase quinze anos, a premiada obra literária ganha versão em graphic novel por meio dos irmãos quadrinistas Fábio Moon e Gabriel Bá, também gêmeos. Este estudo se ocupa, portanto, da análise da estrutura narrativa da obra literária transcodificada para os quadrinhos, por meio do método da análise comparativa proposta por Tzvetan Todorov e Roland Barthes. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de delineamento exploratório que utilizou a análise de conteúdo, comparando dois objetos de estudo: o romance e sua versão para os quadrinhos.Palavras-chave: narrativa, graphic novel, transcodificação.
