A reflexão surge da suspeita de que a educação, incluída a pedagogia, não
tem visão nem própria e nem clara de ser humano, serve-se de arranjos tomados de
ciências coadjuvantes, o que pode ser válido, mas não elabora sua própria síntese, ficando
seus objetivos específicos dispersivos e erráticos, dando ensejo a reducionismos
antropológicos que vão desaguar em teorias educacionais que perdem de vista a sua
maior aposta que consiste na humanização daqueles que são chamados a se tornarem
humanos. Inquietudes e desafios presentes na sociedade educativa mostram a insuficiência
da moldura atual de compreensão antropológica na qual atuam educadores, o
que leva a urgir a elaboração de uma subjetividade que colha no seu âmago a visada
educacional.

ABSTRACTThe concept of man in education and the humanization problem
The reflection arises from the suspicion that education, including
pedagogy, has no proper or clear concept about the human being. It takes arrangements
from coexisting sciences,what can be worth doing but does not elaborate its own
synthesis.The procedure leads to dispersive and erratic specific objectives, that may
assume anthropological reductionisms. Finally, these educational theories originated
overlook their aim to humanize those called to become human. Anxieties and challenges,
present in the educative society, indicate the current anthropological comprehension
insufficience in which our educators act. The situation urges the elaboration of a
subjectivity aimed at an educational review.
