In the following text i analyze how the yiddish become the quasi-official language in the Brazilian jewish community, and specially in São Paulo at the expense of ladino and hebrew. Even as i analyze the space that institution, especially the mutual assistance, took in the jewish community in São Paulo. The two themes are relevant as the partial construction of the jewish community on Brazil and some countries like the United State of America and Argentina.||No texto a seguir pretendo analisar como que o ídiche se tornou a língua quase-oficial na comunidade judaica brasileira e, sobretudo, paulistana em detrimento do ladino e hebraico. Assim como analisar o espaço que as instituições, sobretudo as de assistências mútuas, ocuparam na vida da comunidade judaica em São Paulo. Os dois temas são relevantes quanto a construção parcial da identidade da comunidade judaica no Brasil e em alguns países da América como EUA e Argentina.
