Esta dissertação de mestrado trata da ilustração do livro
infantil a partir do ponto de vista do ilustrador, enfatizando os aspectos estruturais visuais, assim como a relação das imagens com o texto. A produção de um livro ilustrado, partindo desde a criação do texto até os aspectos finais da produção gráfica, destacando de forma detalhada o processo de concepção e criação das ilustrações, pontua observações e reflexões sobre aspectos específicos deste tipo de imagem. Dentro do texto, são abordados desde a história da ilustração do livro infantil, até seus desdobramentos, passando por aspectos técnicos e focando o discurso nas semelhanças e diferenças dentro dos processos de produção de imagens manuais e digitais e de seu impacto no resultado final do trabalho. Tudo isto sob o ponto de vista de minha própria experiência como ilustradora.||This masters dissertation deals with the children's book
illustration from the standpoint of the illustrator, emphasizing the structural aspects of visual as well as the relationship of images with text. The production of an illustrated book, starting from the creation of the text until the final aspects of graphic production, highlighting in detail the process of designing and creating the illustrations, punctuatess comments and thoughts on specific aspects of this type of image.Within the text, are approached from the history of children's book illustration, to its development, going through technical aspects and focusing the discourse on the similarities and differences within the processes of production of manuals and digital images and their impact on the final results All this from the point of view of my own experience as
an illustrator.
