Orientador: Regina Machado||Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Artes||Resumo: A partir da criação do curso de Bacharelado em Música Popular Latino-Americana na Faculdade de Artes e Design da Universidade Nacional de Cuyo (Mendoza ¿ Argentina), em 2004, começa a se vislumbrar a necessidade de refletir sobre sua prática musical. Dentro desta perspectiva, o presente trabalho se propõe a analisar, através do estudo de caso, as incidências do sotaque espanhol-argentino e a inter-relação dos componentes da voz cantada nos níveis físico, técnico e interpretativo na conformação do gesto vocal do cantor. Sob a mesma análise perceptiva, detectar, os possíveis sentidos gerados a partir da interação desse gesto com os conteúdos cancionais, observando os componentes emocionais revelados pelos cantores na interpretação. A amostra, do tipo dirigido ou intencional é composta por cinco alunos do terceiro ano do curso de canto; o repertório, por obras do compositor Antônio Carlos Jobim, representativas do estilo Bossa Nova. Parte-se do modelo de análise para o canto popular brasileiro midiatizado, desenvolvido por Regina Machado - professora do curso de voz popular do Instituto de Artes da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) - que, por sua vez, ampara-se nos estudos sobre a Semiótica da Canção desenvolvidos por Luiz Tatit. Ambos os referenciais teórico-metodológicos representam uma abordagem inovadora na análise do comportamento vocal na música popular brasileira. Dentre os resultados obtidos comprovamos que o intérprete compreende os conteúdos semióticos de uma canção e os elementos referenciais do canto e se posiciona frente a estes a partir da configuração da qualidade emotiva de sua voz. Esta configuração pode tanto reforçar os elementos tensivos e estilísticos da canção interpretada, quanto criar novos sentidos, com a presença da voz. Esperamos que o trabalho possa contribuir para o ensino do canto popular no contexto Latino-Americano e, ao mesmo tempo, servir de elo entre os campos de investigação do canto de pesquisadores argentinos e brasileiros||Abstract: In 2004, it was created the Bachelor course in Latin American Popular Music in the College of Arts and Design at the University of Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina. After that, it begins to find out the need to reflect on its musical practice. Within this perspective, this work aims to analyze by the study of case the implications of the Spanish-Argentine accent and the interrelationship of the components of the singing voice in the physical, technical and interpretive levels in frame the vocal singer gesture. It was applying the same perceptual analysis in order to detect the possible meanings generated from the interaction of this gesture with song contents, and the watching of the emotional components revealed by the singers in their interpretations. It was applied on this research the directed or intentional sample that consists of five third-year students of singing course, and the repertoire of works was from the Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim that representing the Bossa Nova style. It was used on this study the analysis model for the popular Brazilian song mediatized, and developed by Regina Machado, who is a professor of popular voice of the Arts Institute of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), which, in turn, is supported and based in the study of the Song of Semiotics developed by Luiz Tatit. The theoretical and methodological frameworks represent an innovative approach to the analysis of vocal behavior in Brazilian popular music. Among the results obtained, it was proved that the interpreter/singer understands the semiotic contents of a song and the referential elements of the singing, and he stands in front of those from the emotional quality of his voice configuration. This setting can either strengthen the tensioning elements and stylistic interpreted song as creating new meanings with the presence of the voice. We hope that this work can contribute to the popular singing education in Latin American context and, at the same time, serve as a tie in between the research fields of singing of Argentine and Brazilian researchers||Mestrado||Música, Teoria, Criação e Prática||Mestra em Música
