Dissertação também disponível em formato impresso, com o número de chamada MT 2011/06||n/a||This research examines the ways of doing the play The Constant Prince, and investigates the possibilities of a political art that goes beyond the political-ideological discourse, and will be realized in poetry and materiality of action, through an aesthetic experience that generates shocks, interruptions, suspensions. The construction of Ryszard Cieslak and Jerzy Grotowski combines multiple lines of force and non reiterative layers, which gives the play a great artistic and political power. The film of the play, with its peculiar conditions of construction, is the main imagetical source of this research. The texts and the comments that surround the experience of the play/film are juxtaposed with images of the political in art minted by several authors, including Grotowski.||n/a||A presente dissertação analisa os modos de fazer do espetáculo O Príncipe Constante e investiga as possibilidades de uma arte-política que ultrapasse o discurso ideológico, e venha se concretizar na poesia e na materialidade da ação, por meio de uma experiência estética que gera choques, interrupções, suspensões. A construção de Ryszard Cieslak e Jerzy Grotowski conjuga em si múltiplas linhas de força e inúmeras camadas não reiterativas, o que confere ao espetáculo uma enorme potência artística e política. O registro fílmico da peça, com suas condições peculiares de construção, é a principal fonte imagética desta pesquisa. Os textos e as observações que circundam a experiência do espetáculo/filmagem são friccionados com imagens do político na arte cunhadas por diversos autores, inclusive Grotowski.
