Esta obra se contextualiza, dentro do período histórico de formação do compositor, localizada entre as aulas de harmonia com Olivier Messiaen e o início de dodecafônismo com René Leibowitz. Douze Notations trabalha no limiar entre a música atonal, o uso da série na estruturação das alturas e também na complexa formulação rítmica através do "valeur ajoutée" (valor acrescentado). Através das análises da série, da métrica e da utilização do debate sobre o material musical para a discussão da forma, a pesquisa se propõe a encontrar resoluções sobre o processo criativo musical no intuito de entender como podemos organizar os elementos composicionais dentro do contexto da música atonal||Abstract: The present research proposes a study of the creative process of Pierre Boulez in the work Douze Notations composed in 1945. This work contextualizes, within the historical period of formation of the composer, located between the classes of harmony with Olivier Messiaen and the beginning of dodecafonism with René Leibowitz. Douze Notations works on the threshold between atonal music, the use of the series in the structuring of heights and also in the complex rhythmic formulation through the "valeur ajoutée" (added value). Through the analyzes of the series, the metrics and the use of the debate on the musical material for the discussion of the form, the research proposes to find resolutions on the musical creative process in order to understand how we can organize the compositional elements within the music context atonal||Mestrado||Música, Teoria, Criação e Prática||Mestre em Música||88882.180252/2018-01||CAPES
