Orientador: Veronica Fabrini Machado de Almeida||Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Artes||Resumo: Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo desenvolver uma reflexão sobre a arte do palhaço, especialmente no que se refere à linha poética do palhaço pessoal e teatral, a partir do pensamento filosófico do trágico dionisíaco, alegre e da afirmação da vida em Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900). Situada no campo das artes da cena, especificamente da poética do palhaço, a pesquisa se caracteriza como qualitativa e exploratória, com caráter interdisciplinar, envolvendo produção de conhecimento entre diferentes domínios: a palhaçaria e a filosofia. Além da produção teórica, a pesquisa integra investigação empírica no campo teatral e poético do palhaço, com a realização de exercícios cênicos de composição clownesca pela autora, também palhaça. A questão central da tese trata de perscrutar: o que a poética do palhaço tem a ver com o pensamento do trágico alegre e da afirmação vital em Nietzsche? E, em movimento de refluxo: o que este pensamento extemporâneo pode contribuir para um redimensionamento ou uma ampliação de perspectivas, concepções, práticas e modos de expressão da arte e do ofício do palhaço na contemporaneidade? A partir de uma contextualização analítica do campo do palhaço teatral e da explanação reflexiva de conceitos fundamentais em torno do trágico nietzschiano (especialmente o que concerne às últimas produções do filósofo), desenvolvemos articulações que engendram uma perspectiva trágica da poética do palhaço. A fim de tocar a alegria trágica e os risos dionisíacos de afirmação da vida, sem se eximir do terrível, do grave e do doloroso da existência, em transfigurações, jogos de recomeços e saídas criativas de alegria em poéticas cômicas de palhaços trágicos de rir||Abstract: This research aims at developing a reflection on the art of the clown, especially referring to the poetic line of the personal and theatrical clown, from the philosophical thought of the Dionysian joyful-tragic and of the affirmation of life in Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900). Situated in the field of the performing arts, specifically of clown poetics, the research is characterized as qualitative and exploratory, with an interdisciplinary character, involving knowledge production between different domains: clownery and philosophy. In addition to theoretical production, the research integrates empirical investigation in the theatrical and poetic field of the clown, with the performance of scenic exercises of clown composition by the author, also a clown. The central question of the thesis deals with investigating: how is clown poetics related to the joyful-tragic thought and the vital affirmation in Nietzsche? And, in a backflow movement: how can this extemporaneous thought contribute to a resizing or an expansion of perspectives, conceptions, practices and forms of expression of clown art and craft in the contemporaneity? From an analytical contextualization of the theatrical clown poetics and of the reflective explanation of fundamental concepts on the Nietzschean tragic (especially what concerns the last productions of the philosopher), we have developed articulations which engender a tragic perspective of clown poetics.
